Officers are eligible to retire as early as completion of 20 year active duty in the Uniformed Services. Upon 30 years of completion, officers shall retire unless the extension request is granted by their agency. For specific information regarding retirement plans, health, and VA benefit, please visits the PHS commissioned Corps webpage under the section of Benefit.
