Topics Based Listserv The Topics Based listserv is a new feature of the NPAC website, developed to provide readers with current information and resources on topics related to public health issues. The listserv will be updated quarterly with 3 new topics. IIf there are subjects you would like to see addressed in this venue, we welcome your suggestions. Send your suggestions and any additional information you may have related to the topic to CDR Sue Fawkes NUMBERS DON'T LIE! Recently, many organizations have highlighted the costs of health care errors in dollars and cents and human suffering. The statistics indicate this information has not drastically reduced the number of health care errors. Nurses are the direct patient care giver and are in an excellent position to contribute to the improvement of patient care by reducing errors.
