Deadline Extended For Paper/Poster Submissions to USPHS Meeting

The deadline is rapidly approaching for contributed paper/poster submissions for the 2007 USPHS Scientific and Training Symposium, which will be held June 3-7 in Cincinnati. Submit your proposals today!

The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2006. Approved presentations will be given during two time blocks on Wednesday, June 6th. Approved presenters will be notified by February 16, 2007. Approved presenters qualify for the reduced speaker registration rate.

Posters will go up Monday morning, June 4 and will be on display through June 5. Topics considered: related to the conference theme (The Many Faces of Public Health), profession-specific, others of interest to public health and global health practitioners.

Presentations are being requested in the 11 professional categories of the USPHS as well as in the topic areas of disaster preparedness; global health; mental health; and occupational safety and health.
