OFRD/CentreLearn Immunization Module

The OFRD Training Program is proud to announce the addition of two new online training modules as part of the OFRD training program. Together, these two modules address vaccine administration that may be needed as part of emergency response activities.

Currently, the two sessions: Immunization Techniques: Best Practices and Smallpox Vaccine Administration have CERP accreditation for continuing dental education credit. Continuing education credit for other disciplines has been applied for but has not yet been approved. Continuing education credit can only be offered if the content, evaluation, and survey are completed after the CE credit for a given discipline has been approved. Therefore, if you are a physician, nurse, social worker, veterinarian, psychologist, respiratory therapist, or pharmacist requiring CE credit for these sessions, we recommend that you not take modules 165 or 166 until CE credit for your discipline is offered.

We will post updates about Continuing Education credit approvals for these two sessions on the CentreLearn website in the Announcements section.

These two new training modules have been added to the Optional Curriculum folder within the CentreLearn (http://learn.centrelearn.com/login.asp) platform.

Thanks very much to CDR Renee Joskow for her sustained efforts to make these sessions available.
